Four gardens, and what changed.

Dusk Lighting

“It’s amazing the difference some lighting can make!”

Sam, June 2021

A courtyard garden in daylight: grey porcelain, a raised deck with a rattan dining set, cream rendered walls and cedar fencing with three wall lights. The same courtyard at night: the three wall lights wash up and down the cedar, and small lights in the deck step glow across the porcelain.

“Lighting to highlight features and set the mood at night makes this garden useable at all times of the year!”

    Two projects at his house

Sam, his team, Jack and Joe have completed 2 projects at mine and all I can say is they are the hardest working people I know! They show up early every day, the work they do is second to none and the results have been amazing. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. I would trust SB Outdoor Living with any project. No job is too big and they will do their best to give an amazing finish!

An unused area, made a place to play and relax

Sam and the team design and delivery was fantastic. Turned an unused area of garden into a great place to play and relax. Hardworking team with a great attention to detail. Thanks

    Courtyard: porcelain, cedar and lighting

Sam has done a fantastic job on our courtyard garden which had become overgrown and untidy. Sam and his colleague worked really hard to complete the job in all weathers and always tidied up every day when they left. Sam is a perfectionist and both the fencing and the tiling are exceptionally neat…

    A garden levelled and seeded

Sam and his team did an absolutely brilliant job for us, provided great advice and helped keep the job affordable with a great end product. They also levelled off our garden with top soil and seeded it for us, which wasn’t originally planned for but has made our garden much more usable. Couldn’t recommend SB Outdoor Living highly enough!

Twelve fence panels on a slope

SB Outdoor Living installed a fence for us, around 12 panels on a slope. They did a fantastic job, the fence is level and complete with the requested hedgehog hole. Prompt, professional, polite guys. Turned up as promised and left the garden clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Night About

Sam Bright, and the SB team.

Sam set up SB Outdoor Living in April 2021. It has grown into a team that takes on anything from a single fence to a whole garden, a driveway or the groundwork for a new building.

Gardens can be drawn up in 3D before anything is dug, and on the bigger schemes Sam builds to a garden designer’s plans. Materials come from London Stone, Millboard, Quorn Stone and Marshalls, and from merchants round Nottingham.

One job Sam talks about: an old mill ruin his grandad bought and restored in 1979. Years later, SB built the outdoor space for its new owners.

SB are a sponsor of Eastwood CFC, and the groundwork team has been working at their Coronation Park ground.
